About the Recipe

Millet is a great alternative to oats. The ancient grain is naturally gluten free and tastes great savoury or sweet.

You can make this breakfast every day different by mixing up the fruits. Mango with Banana is another one of my favorite.

  • 1 cup of Millet

  • 1 cup of strawberries

  • 1 small banana

  • 1 handful of blue berries


Millet is an ancient grain and is naturally gluten free. It can be used for savoury or sweet dishes.

Step 1

Use one cup of millet and 2.5 cups of water and cook for around 20 minutes or until water is gone. Let is stand for 10 more minutes covered after cooking.

Step 2

Fill millet in a bowl and let if stand for further 5 minutes to cool it down

Step 3

Cut fruits of choice and add to bowl and enjoy!

If you wish you can sweeten it with honey. I personally prefer it unsweetened as the fruits are already sweet enough.
