About the Recipe

This is a super simple salmon dish which you can do with minimum kitchen equipment. All you need is one frying pan or wok. We use Anorak King Salmon from New Zealand.

Ingredients

  • 350 gram King Salmon from NZ (this is our favorite, but you can choose other salmon too)

  • 300 gram of Broccolini

  • 2 Carrots

  • 2 big cups of rice

  • 1 table spoon of Olive oil


Preparation

Step 1


Pat dry the salmon and put a pinch of salt on each side


Step 2


Rinse rice 2 times and cook 2 cups of rice with 2 cups of water in the rice cooker or in a pot on the stove


Step 3


Wash and cut carrots and broccolini to desired size


Step 4


Put one table spoon of olive oil into the wok, heat up the wok and fry salmon on the skin side for 8 to 10 minutes on medium heat. Turn around salmon and fry another 6 minutes or until done


Step 5


Remove the salmon from the wok and fry the carots and broccolini in the same oil for about 5 minutes.
