1 kg sweet potatoes, washed and peeled
2 pinches of salt
1 vanilla bean (or 1 drop of Young Living vanilla essential oil)
3 dates, pitted
3 tablespoons cacao powder
1 tablespoon cacao butter, melted
Preparation
Instructions:
Steam the Sweet Potatoes
Place the peeled sweet potatoes in a steamer and cook for about 35 minutes or until tender. Use a fork to check doneness.
Prepare the Batter
Add the steamed sweet potatoes, salt, vanilla, dates, cacao powder, and melted cacao butter to a food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Prepare for Baking
Line a baking dish with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the prepared dish, smoothing the top.
Bake the Cake
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the cake for 90 minutes, or until it is set in the center.
