About the Recipe

This is a quick step to prepare the mango sticky rice without the need for overnight soaking.

Simply soak the glutinous rice in hot water for 20 min and they are ready to get steam cook.


  • 1 Riped Mango

  • Glutinous Rice

  • 250ml Coconut Milk

  • Coconut sugar or honey



Rinse 1 cup of the glutinous rice with water for at least 3 times. Soak the glutinous rice with hot water for 20 min.

Step 2:

Steam cook your glutinous rice with a steamer, cover the rice with cloth cover or nut bag. Cook for 30 min.

Step 3:

Serve the sliced mango with the sticky rice, drizzle the rice with coconut milk and sprinkle some sugar or honey.
